Hello this is Robin McIntosh. I was born with Spina Bifida. I functioned quite well in my grooming career. Then suddenly on April 7th I was struck with horrific pain and on April 11th paralysis set in.

On April 14th I was sent to USC Keck. A very specialized surgeon will be doing surgery to remove a tumor (lipoma) from the spinal cord. The goal is to stop the progression of paralysis.

The good news is that I have a wonderful grooming prospect in the Santa Ynez valley, at the end of my recovery. You know me. I’m not a quitter!

in the meantime I’m not able to work at all with my beloved fur babies. This personal fundraiser is to pay for rent, car, utilities, medicine, and surgery. My recovery will be approximately one year.
