Help Our Beloved Therapy Dog, Dottie, Get the Surgery She Needs

We’re reaching out to our wonderful East School community and beyond to support someone very special—our beloved therapy dog, Dottie.

Dottie has been a loyal companion and a calming presence for our students, staff, and families. She has brought comfort, joy, and emotional support to countless children, helping them navigate tough days with her gentle, loving nature.

On June 10, Dottie will undergo TPLO surgery (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) to repair a torn ligament in her hind leg. This procedure is essential to relieve her pain and help her get back to doing what she loves most—being there for our kids.

Veterinary care of this kind is costly, and we want to ensure Dottie receives the best possible treatment and recovery. That’s why we’re asking for your help. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward Dottie's surgery, post-operative care, and recovery expenses.
