Hi, my name is Zak. It is heartbreaking to watch the increasing number of animals with added pets being abandoned on the streets as a result of deteriorating economy in Turkiye. They are desperately seeking human contact. With the new laws allowing, they are often being tortured, killed & injured & their food supply reduced many become malnourished and sick. Paws & Claws started 12 years ago as a volunteer run legal Turkish charity to provide veterinary care for the sick & the injured on the streets as well as food & medication. As a very small charity, Paws & Claws rely on your donations to make a difference for these animals in real need. This year, with the economy changing in Turkey, we are having a very hard time.
