Help Eva Find Safety, Confidence, and Accessible Education with a Service Dog

Eva is our vibrant, spirited, warm-hearted 5-year-old who faces unique challenges due to a developmental disability. Like many children, she wants to explore the world, play with friends, and feel comfortable in new places like school. However, these simple joys are often out of reach for her.

Whether it's working through activities of daily living, navigating school, or staying safe in her home and community, Eva experiences significant challenges. This limits her ability to participate in everyday activities and requires substantial support from her parents and caregivers.

Here is where a service dog can make a world of difference! We are working with Loyalty Service Dogs to connect Eva with a specially trained service dog to provide the companionship and sense of security she needs to feel safe, secure, and confident. The dog will not only be a calming presence but will also help her manage anxiety, build emotional resilience, and access environments that are otherwise too overwhelming for her.

The cost of acquiring and training a service dog is significant, but the impact it would have on her well-being, safety, and ability to access the world would be immeasurable. This is where we are seeking support. We are reaching out to our community to help make this dream a reality for Eva. The total cost of the service dog is $28K. Family has generously supported with $7K. I’m seeking to make up the rest through my own savings, the coaching and caregiving work I do, and community support from you all.
