Pawel is 39 and a few weeks ago was diagnosed with a brain tumor Anaplaztic Astrocyroma Grade 3.
It was a typical winter morning a few weeks before Christmas in Brooklyn NY, Pawel was getting ready for work, had his coat and hat on, and was ready to give his wife a kiss when his life changed. His body stopped to function. The tumor was so big that it paralyzed his left arm. The ambulance took Pawel to Woodhull hospital as paramedics thought it was a heart attack. After first checking MRI it turned out to be a cancer. He was transferred to Bellevou hospital where he spent over a week, having additional checks, scans, MRI’s and a biopsie. The tumor is too big to be operated.
Pawel’s life has changed and is a big question mark. He is starting radiotherapy, chemotherapy and hopefully be able to have the brain surgery at one stage.
Pawel is an amazing person who always looks after other people, not only after his wife, friends, colleagues and neighbors but also the strangers on the streets of New York, homeless and whoever needs help. He is an optimist with lots of energy and a big heart. He loves people, nature and fishing.
Now it’s our time to help Pawel!
Pawel had to pay thousands of dollars to cover the hospital expenses, as the insurance did not cover them. Just the discovery stage of Pawel’s illness depleted all of the family savings. Pawel can’t work now and his wife’s salary doesn’t cover the day-to-day expenses, not mentioning hospital and therapy costs.
Pawel needs your help:
· Please share his story with your friends and family,
· Please pray for him,
· And if you can please contribute to „Healthy Pawel” fund, every dollar counts.
We would like to assure all of you willing to support Pawel that all funds are directly transferred to Pawel's account. This is a real friend's initiative, made from hearts.
We are trying to help Pawel and his wife to cover the costs of his radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and the brain surgery.
Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts!
