Hi everyone, my name is Hatzy Carillo, and I’ve had the privilege of working at Paw Haven under Rosalie Golbahar for the past two years. I’ve seen firsthand the love, passion, and effort Rose pours into this business—not just for her customers, but for her team and the dogs we care for.

Rose has shown extraordinary strength, working tirelessly through her pregnancy up until the day before giving birth and returning just two weeks later. She’s also had to endure the challenges of navigating a very difficult divorce, during which the business was burdened with over $150,000 in debt—a financial strain that was not of Rose’s making.

Despite everything, Rose continues to dedicate herself to Paw Haven, her 2-year-old daughter, and her passion for helping animals.

Rose offers to foster rescue dogs at the store, volunteers her time with dog shelters and rescues, and treats every pet here like her own. She’s a devoted mother, boss, and friend who always puts others before herself. But Rose is also someone who would never ask for help—even when she truly needs it—which is why I’ve decided to start this GoFundMe on her behalf.
