It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the news that our father, husband, and friend, Pavel Bruyako, passed away in his sleep on Sunday, July 19, 2020, between midnight and 12:30 a.m. This departure was sudden and unexpected, having occurred after a short illness. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Valentina, his sons Nikolai, Peter, and Ivan, and seven grandchildren. He would have celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary with his wife on September 13, 2020.

Pavel will be fondly remembered for his kind heart and varied hobbies, including bee keeping, wine making, bread baking, gardening, and many many more that would make this list go on forever. More importantly, he was well known for his generous spirit and willingness to help anyone in need. Despite many challenges, he brought his family to the United states from the former Soviet Union in 1990 for the promise of a better life, and helped his friends and extended family do the same.

Pavel was the patriarch and lifeblood of his family. Please accept our deep heartfelt thanks for considering to help us in our time of need and personal tragedy, for which we have established this GoFundMe account. A gift of any amount is much appreciated. All funds will go directly to Pavel’s wife, Valentina, for her well-being. She faces several of her own health challenges and has limited mobility. Funds will be used to complete mobility related home renovations and obtain health care that Pavel had promised her he would arrange prior to his sudden passing.
