On Sunday 1/22 Rob was in a motorcycle accident in Lake Havasu where he sustained serious spinal injuries.
Rob is the kind of person you meet and then never want to live without. He walks into your life and it is forever changed for the better. He welcomes everyone with open arms, love, and lots of jokes. We have actually sent him to the grocery store for a BBQ, and he came home with new friends he made while there. Rob is a father of three beautiful girls whose lives would not be the same without him. He has postponed his own retirement because he committed to pay for his youngest daughter's college. He is always there for his girls and if you’ve met him you will know the relationships he has with them is beyond special.
When admitted to the ICU he was unable to move his right leg. There were fears about permanent paralysis. Through cervical decompression and fusion surgery on levels c2-c7 of his spine, he is now able to feel all his limbs (Thank God!). Once he is released from the ICU, Rob will be admitted to a rehabilitation center where he will learn to walk and perform daily functions again.
Our hope is that he can go into his recovery focused on getting better and not the bills that are already piling up. He cares so deeply about others and is always there in times of struggle. Help us give back to Rob as Rob has done for so many of us.
Any help is appreciated as we help Rob fight his way back to health.
