Hi, my name is Teja Katta and I started this fundraising to help support one of my neighbors in India who was admitted into the hospital with a blood clot in the brain (Cerebral Vein Thrombosis).

 

Pavani is a 22year old housewife with 2 daughters(1yr and 2.5yr old). While doing her day-to-day activities, she just didn't wake up in the morning and was rushed to the hospital where it was diagnosed that she had a clot in the brain. Adding to that, doctors noticed that she is Pregnant which in this case might have to be removed for medical reasons as she doesn't have enough strength to carry a baby.

 

As the doctors mentioned that the only thing they can do right now is to use blood thinners and keep her under observation. And, the only thing we can do from our side is to wait for days, months, or even years until she is conscious again.

 

Right now, the hospital charges are around 10,000 rupees a day until she responds and then might need another surgery.

 

My parents Katta Gangadhar and Katta Lakshmi are doing everything they can to save her life and take care of her two daughters who spend most of their time in our house.

 

As of now, APPROX. EVERY DOLLAR you donate will give her TEN MINUTES to FIGHT.
