Hello, welcome to the Pau’ole Hawaii Island Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation Network Go Fund Me .

We are a community network of horse lovers, working together to help horse friends in need here on Hawaii Island.

At this point in time, there is no organization to call, besides the Hawaii Police Department, if a citizen comes across a horse in need of rescuing , rehabilitation or rehoming.

This situation prompted me to organize a community group to spread a safety net for these animals in need.

Ari, the groups first Rescue and Rehabilitation case, was adopted into the program just 2 weeks ago. She has spent 2 days under veterinarian supervision, 6 days at a lay up facility and is now in a foster pasture with her new friend Halo. The cost so far for Ari has been $1700. Her food bill is roughly $7/day and she will need farrier work every 6 weeks@$50. She will need a follow up veterinarian appointment to check her healing progress and recieve vaccinations @$250.

We are also here to help educate the public on the proper procedure to follow for reporting an animal in need.
