Help our brother and friend, Paul!

Donation protected
Our friend and brother, Paul Warden, needs our help.  He is part of our flight attendant family, based in NTA.  He underwent a hip replacement surgery in December and has had nothing but problems since.  He has been out of work since the end of November and cannot return until the beginning of 2016 (at the earliest).  His wife is unable to work because she has medical issues of her own, so Paul is the sole breadwinner.  They could really use our help right now.  I know how wonderful, caring, and giving you all are and would appreciate you sending your prayers and support to Paul and his family. Thank you very much.  His story is below.

I was scheduled for a total hip replacement on Dec. 7, 2014.  It was supposed to be a routine surgery, 6 weeks of recovery, then back to work.  Unfortunately, I experienced major complications.  I was sent home after 1 week in the hospital, but felt that something was wrong with me.  Two days later I had so much pain in my legs that I kept passing out.  My blood pressure was very high and I felt like I was going to die.  I was rushed to the hospital and, after a CT scan, was told that I had a big clot in my left leg.  They put me on blood thinners and sent me home.  24 hours after returning home I was rushed back to the hospital.  I was experiencing an incredible amount of pain in my hip.  After another CT scan I was told that I was bleeding internally and had developed a huge hematoma in my hip.  On Dec 20th I went into surgery for the second time to have the hematoma removed.  After the surgery they had to thicken my blood by giving me plasma.  Furthermore, I developed an infection so they had to operate a 3rd time to clean out the infection.  Meanwhile, I had more clots and was literally between life and death.  I remained in the hospital for 30 days fighting blood clots and blood loss.  I was finally sent home and a picc line was placed in me so I could be on IV antibiotics to fight the infection.  It was a long 5 months of rehab and care before I felt well enough to return to work and provide for my family.  A few days before I was scheduled to go back I had pain in my hip, major chills and a high fever.  Once again, I was rushed to the hospital.  Sure enough, after a CT scan, I was told that the infection was back.  I was admitted to the hospital right away and scheduled for a 4th surgery.  This time it was to remove the hip replacement completely and replace it with an antibiotic spacer.  I was told that I need to keep this antibiotic spacer for 3 moths before they can place the permanent hip again (5th surgery).  I am fighting, but wish I could be back at work to provide for my family and see all of my friends.  I appreciate your love, support, and prayers.  Love to all .
