Some info on Pauls journey :
As many of you know Paul is fighting Testicular Cancer.
Everything started officially December 16, an urgent care visit, ER Visit, urologist, surgery, blood work, CT Scan, oncologist, fertility clinic, banking sperm, and currently Paul is now recieving chemotherapy.
Paul is almost one week into is 9 week Chemo regimen!
He has been getting through this week like a champion! Monday he received about 10 hours of treatment and the past few days about 6! Fridays we will be in GR for treatment. The weeks he doesn’t receive treatment everyday he will on Mondays!
He has been given a good prognosis that chemo should be all he needs but another surgery hasn’t been totally ruled out yet at this point.
We definitely are not the type of people looking for a hand out, we just want friends and family who feel they want to donate to have the option.
This diagnoses has brought so far 2 surgeries and the start to the road of fertility planning for our future family. Neither of us want to use this platform to complain about the high costs of all of this but the sad truth it it’s all very expensive!
We remain pretty postive & thank the Lord often this type of cancer is VERY curable!
At this time they are hopeful that the 9 weeks of Chemo will be sufficient but they have not ruled out lymph node removal surgery. He will get new scans and blood work after the chemo to determine next steps ! But we are praying is will be cancer free !
We never would have guessed in our first year of marriage we would be faced with these challenges, but these types of things no one can really plan for. Right ?
We are overwhelmed by the amount of love and support we have received from all the people we love !!
Thank you for your time, prayers thoughts and messages! We appreciate it all so much
