Paul Walker's Trip To NAB

I've been a radio broadcaster for 11 years and never had the opportunity to attend a broadcast convention to network with my peers and friends in the broadcast business.

Usually, my distance from the convention along with the time and cost of travel made it impossible to do.

Well, now I'm about 10 hours away and likely the closest I'll ever be to the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) convention in Las Vegas April 11th through the 16th.

This would be a great networking opportunity and I'd be meeting many people in pwoerful positions in broadcasting. .station owners, program directors and engineers. A great way for me to possibly find a new job.

Because of travel time on the bus, I will have to leave very early on the morning of the 12th, arriving late that night. I will leave sometime during the day on the 17th most likely.

I'm currently in Redding, CA and Yes, out of work so money is very tight. This is likely the closest I'll ever be.

I have over estimated the cost of the trip to be on the safe side, as the cost of a bus ticket could go up greatly as the date of travel gets closer. Same with the hotel room, the cost would likely go up a bit.

I also over estimated because if there's a sudden rise in price or unexpected cost for something, I don't wanna be stranded and stuck without money.

Any money left over after the trip will be donated to an animal charity of my choice. 

Should I not be able to go for any reason, I will not keep the money, I will refund it to you or I will donate it to an animal charity of my choice.

And anyone who donates is free to ask for receipts proving expenses once the trip as been taken, I willl save everything and be glad to put your mind at ease about where the money went.
