Paul's Fight for Life Against Cancer
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Paul. I went to the doctor because of an ingrown toenail and because I'm diabetic, they wanted to do a blood test. After this test, they discovered that I had high calcium in my blood and decided to send me for a CAT scan of my heart. During the CAT scan of my heart, they found calcium in my heart valves. On the edge of the scan, they saw a couple of lumps in my lungs. I've been to 2 further CAT scans and I have been determined to have four lumps in my lungs. I'm having a PET scan next week and the big problem is that I don't have insurance.
I have not been employed since November, I rent an RV that I live in and within a few months with the cost of my medications and doctor's visits, I'll not be able to afford my rent. And that means I'll be out on the streets with a diagnosis of cancer in the lungs. The doctors I am seeing at Lee Health are extraordinarily caring and are pushing me through to get me the best services I can get... But without money, it will become impossible for me to get treatment.
I greatly need help, please.
Typically I would never ask but I find myself in a very difficult position. I'm sixty-four years old and want to live to see my grandchildren.
