Hi everyone,

My name is Michael, and I’m reaching out to you today with a heavy heart but a lot of hope. My best friend/son, Paul, a 5-year-old Bullmastiff who’s been by my side through thick and thin, was diagnosed with cancer on December 2nd. Right now, we’re still waiting on confirmation of the exact type, but the doctors are certain that Paul will need chemotherapy and possibly surgery to recover.

Paul has been quietly fighting this battle for over three months, but things have recently started progressing more aggressively. The good news is that his medical team believes he has a strong chance of pulling through—though it’s going to be a long and challenging road.

Paul is more than just a pet; he’s family. He’s my source of unconditional love, joy, and comfort. Anyone who’s met him knows how much life he brings into a room and how deeply he’s loved by everyone around him. All I want is for him to feel like himself again—to run, play, and continue being the incredible spirit that he is.

As you can imagine, the costs for his treatments are quickly adding up. Between vet visits, diagnostics, prescriptions, chemo sessions, and potential surgeries, it’s overwhelming. That’s why I’m turning to the kindness of friends, family, and animal lovers for support. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward ensuring Paul gets the care he needs to heal and thrive.
