Hi I am Darleen Schwartz. My husband Paul is dying from Advanced Prostate Cancer and also has severe Dementia. He is no longer able to be cared for at home and now resides in a Personal Care Home for his dementia and final days. He has exhausted all available medical treatments. He is only expected to live weeks to a few months at best.

I love him dearly and did not want to place him in a state nursing home as I know his care would not be good there. His monthly care is costing over $6800.00 a month in a private facility and I am quickly running out of funds. I am on a fixed income and am asking for help.

Paul is a wonderful human being and I want the best for him and for him to die in peace and comfort. I was no longer able to take care of him at home when his physical care became overwhelming and his mental decline lead to him being unsafe at home. I wish it were otherwise.
