Hello my name is Krista Allvey and I am raising money to help my little brother Paul as he recently suffered a very traumatic brain injury.
Paul was in a tragic accident two weeks ago and is currently in the intensive care unit. He suffered injury to three separate parts of his brain and has required intubation, mechanical sedation and ventilator support to sustain life while doctors monitored the pressures in his brain. At one point the damage was beginning to look so extensive we thought we would lose him.
On Sunday 5/24/20 the doctors took Paul off his paralytic medications and he woke up for the first time since his incident. This was very unexpected, so much so that the doctors referred to it as little P’s miracle. I truly believe everyone’s support and belief has played a huge role in his recovery thus far.
While Paul is currently able to communicate very minimally with small gestures, we are told the road ahead of him is going to be long and rocky. This is where your love comes in. I am asking you to keep him in your prayers and consider donating to help support the many challenges that face us ahead. No one should have to think about money in a time like this, but with Paul out of work, ICU bills mounting, and unforeseeable future we are beginning to wrestle with our financial limits.
Anything you can give is treasured. Our family appreciates your love and support, we will keep you informed on how Paul is doing along the way. We couldn’t have braced this without all of you.
Thank you, all the love
Krista
