Paulita “polly” Mayorga Hernández

In loving memory of our dear , Paulita Elenor Hernandez, wife, mother, and grandmother, we are starting this GoFundMe campaign to honor her amazing life and the impact she had on our family and the Santa Monica, California community.

Our mother, affectionately known as "Polly," was a dedicated and loving wife to Emilio and a mother of three boys - Romie, Bobby, and Markie. She was also a proud grandmother of seven beautiful grandchildren - Manuel, Erica, Samantha, Gisella, Roman, Markie, and Elias. Polly cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, especially when they played baseball together. As the team mom for many years at Santa Monica Los Amigos, she always made sure the games were organized and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Not only was Polly a dedicated team mom, but she also took charge of the snack bar from 1987 to 1989, serving the best burgers on the west side. Her cooking skills were legendary, and she loved preparing delicious meals for her family, friends, and the community. Whether it was a family gathering or a community event, everyone looked forward to Polly's mouthwatering dishes.

Outside of her role as a wife, mother and grandmother, Polly was a passionate teacher's aide and private tutor at John Muir Elementary in Santa Monica. She dedicated her time and energy to helping her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren succeed academically. Her patience and guidance made a significant impact on their lives.

Polly had a wonderful sense of humor and could always bring a smile to anyone's face. She found joy in the simplest things and never failed to put others before herself. Her selfless nature was evident in her constant check-ins and availability for those in need. Whether it was a phone call or a helping hand, she was always there to support and care for others.

Unfortunately, Polly's passing has left a void in our lives. We are now faced with the financial burden of funeral expenses and other related costs. We kindly ask for your support and contributions to help us give her the farewell she deserves.
