Paulino was a beloved man. He was a part of our family for 8 years and in those years he became a very special person to us. He raised 3 young boys as his own and he saw 9 precious children grow in front of his eyes, children who knew him as “grampa.” We wanted him to continue seeing them grow, but unfortunately, he was taken away. Paulino caught COVID and it affected his lungs so badly that it made it impossible for him to breathe on his own. After 4 days in the hospital, Paulino went into cardiac arrest 5 times and we lost him. We will forever miss his genuine smile, his contagious laughter, his kind and wise words, but we will especially miss the love that he gave each and every one of us and his grandchildren. Paulino’s death has been so sudden that we were not prepared. We are gathering funds to give him a proper burial and appreciate any help we can get.
