Hi my name is Marissa Chandler it took a a lot to put my pride aside and do this fundraiser for my mother. As you may know, she passed away on Sunday with a battle from leukemia. That was very unexpected and took her life quickly.

As you may know, Anna was not my biological mother, but she came to the US with nothing at all and she got a job and then I was lucky enough for her to bring me to the US and raise me and give me a wonderful life. She never married, she dedicated her whole life to working 2 to 3 jobs the whole time while raising me to make sure that I had an education. On top of that she sent also every dime that she had to all her family Guatemala to take care of her mother and put family through school also build little homes for family members. She basically supported everybody while she had nothing for herself and she worked until she couldn’t. She never took a dime from this country, always did what was right, gave back to her community and always put others needs above her own. When I say she never asked anything from anybody that is the truth , she gave everything that she had literally until she was so exhausted from working. She was the epitome of integrity, kindness, and truth. I never heard her speak about anybody. She dedicated her life to giving to everybody.

all that she asked of me was to please bury her in Guatemala next to her mother that she never got to say goodbye to and be with her next to her grave.

Unfortunately its very expensive to transfer body to another country’s and make all the arrangements so I’m asking if you find it in your heart to help me just a little bit so I at least make this happen for her. She never asked me for anything and I want to give her this last wish to bury her in Guatemala with her family. She deserves that.I understand if you’re unable to, but if you can donate a little something, I would greatly appreciate it.
