Hi everyone! I am taking up an amazing opportunity to travel to Indonesia in October 2026 on my very first mission trip with Mission To Change in partnership with ADRA (Adventist Development and Relief Agency). I had never considered anything like this before until the last few years, deciding that I should step out of my comfort zone for a more meaningful experience - volunteering to serve other children, young people, families and communities who live in poverty on the other side of the world and who need support. It can be so easy to live selfishly, but as part of the global family of Christians, we are called by God to attend to other's needs, so it is an honour to be a part of this impactful humanitarian project. I also hope to set an example not just to my own children, but also for the young people I lead in my church.

I will not be going alone! There will be 20 of us going from various Seventh Day Adventist churches, where we will be taking part in:

*retrofitting houses (making homes safer and more resistant to tropical storms)

*teaching English classes

*renovating a school

*community agriculture

*presenting health workshops

I am kindly asking for your financial support in fundraising to enable me to go on this trip and to purchase items including toys, books, stationery and sanitary products. It would also be beyond amazing to raise more than the goal to support another young person on a mission trip such as this!!
