Hi, I am Paula Howie, I’m from NC where I was born and raised. I have 4 sons and 4 grandchildren that deeply love and support me every way possible. I’m not sure how to handle this situation that has darkened my hopes again, but medical turmoil has arisen that has made it difficult for me to work. I’m in a fight for my life yet again, I’ve had a battle with cancer before in my breast enduring chemotherapy, radiation treatments and a mastectomy. I thought I had won. Eight years later I’m again at this stage of uncertainty fighting cancer with my other breast. I’m fighting daily to keep myself and family alive. I don’t know any other platform to help me get through this difficult time. I’m coming to you, the people that are seeing this, to ask if you would please help support my efforts to live!! Having limited resources available in this economy and nationwide disparity, I’m asking for you to please support my efforts to live and get help with getting medical care, medication, medical supplies, food and transportation to appointments and more. This is hard for me to do as I’ve always been a private and confidential person but I’ve always been one who would help when someone calls.
