It is with profound sadness we announce Randell Embry Jr., known to his family and friends as Randy, of Louisville Kentucky, beloved partner to Paul Nobles, passed away at the age of 55 on May 1, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their life to the fullest just as Randy had done.
Randy had a passion for life, was one of the best and kindest humans with a compassionate heart, who always had a positive outlook, loved to party, was always the life of the party, never knew a stranger, such a genuine soul, never had a bad thing to say about anyone, people adored him, and his energy and love of life was contagious. He had a way of connecting with people and touched so many lives. To know him was to love him, and he will be intensely missed.
Randy loved his community and shared his DJ talents throughout the area at many special public and private events. He loved music and was happy to share that passion through his career at Triangle Talent. He would make all of his events special and always brought a personal touch to them. Before that ge was manager at Drug Emporium.
Randy met the love of his life, Paul Nobles, through a mutual friend 33 years ago. They both shared their love for music as Paul worked along side Randy at Triangle Talent. It was not a rare occasion to see them at Hilltop Tavern which became like a second family to them. They shared many memories and met some of their life long friends. Cheers to Randy and a life spent bringing laughter and joy to others.
He will be lovingly remembered by his life partner Paul Nobles, their beloved fur baby Luna, his father Randell, father-in-law John, his sister Tammy. (Terry), sister Michelle (Dan), brother Brad (Kelly). Nieces Kayla, Alexis, Madison and Payton and nephews Jake and Parker. Great nieces Nova and Callie and Great nephew Preston as well as numerous friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his mother Judy.
Randy loved with the biggest heart and with that heart taking care of his partner was always a priority. Randy thought he had much more time. Due to the his rapid passing we know he wished he was able to plan more for Paul. In lieu of flowers or other heartfelt sentiments we would love to provide a monetary gift to Paul in Randy's honor to ease some of the burdens he will be facing with his own medical needs.
Randy's Celebration of Life will be held at none other than his 2nd home, Hilltop Tavern (1800 Frankfort avenue) on Sunday May 15th from 3pm to 5pm. As Randy would say "Let's get this party started!"
