Andrea and Paul's Journey

Earlier this year, our dear friend, Andrea Heyink, started experiencing periods of unexplainable memory loss. After many visits to several doctors and medical facilities in the Buffalo, NY area, the cause of these episodes remained a mystery.
As her cognitive impairment worsened, her husband, Paul, looked for help outside of the Buffalo area, and with the assistance of family friends in Cleveland, he was able to get treatment for Andrea at the Cleveland Clinic.
Unfortunately, during her two week stay at the Clinic, Andrea was diagnosed with Stage 3 Small Cell Lung Cancer. She immediately began a regimen of chemotherapy, and Paul and Andrea have now returned home to Buffalo. She will continue getting treatment for both the neurological condition and the lung cancer at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Due to these medical issues, Andrea is not able to work, and needs continual care and supervision which limits Paul's ability to operate his small business and provide income for the family.
This campaign was created for family and friends of Andrea and Paul to come together to assist them financially. Many have asked, "How can we help?"-This is one way. An additional way to help is to please keep Andrea and Paul in your thoughts and prayers.
