Dale Funkhouser was dearly loved by his wife Paula, his family and many friends. Dale was killed in a motorcycle accident in the early hours of April 9th.
Dale served his country in the US Navy. He was stationed in Australia when he met "the love of his life" Paula. She says "as soon as I saw him, I knew - it was love at first sight".
Paula and Dale's family are in need of funds to pay for funeral expenses and bills. Paula's daughter will be traveling soon from Australia to be with her Mother. The first installment of funds will likely pay for Skye's airline ticket.
Any donation will be gratefully accepted, and all funds will go directly to Paula. Paula works as a Per Diem nurse in Labor and Delivery. Per Diem nurses do not accrue vacation or sick pay, which means, Paula does not work, she does not get paid, with no comp time to claim. Please keep this in mind when you generously donate.
