Hi, my name is Paula Will, and I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2005. I had a double bilateral mastectomy of both my breast and received a heavy dosage of chemotherapy to help reduce the risk of spreading to other parts of my body.

Unfortunately, in 2017 the cancer metastasized into my right and left lungs, causing fluid to build up and preventing me from breathing correctly. Doctors decided to perform thoracic lung drainage and chemotherapy to help shrink the tumors. Because the cancer spread to the lung, it is now stage IV non-small cell lung cancer with comprehensive treatment. Due to the harsh treatment, my body developed neuropathy that damaged my nerves and muscles, preventing me from standing on my foot for an extended period of time. The pain is so severe that the doctors prescribed me Methadone medication to lessen the pain.

I lost my job because of this; I withdrew all my savings to pay for all my daily expenses and some medical bills. I am financially ruined, and I am asking for your help so that I can continue my journey with acupuncture and medications that my medical insurance does not cover. I owe the hospital over $17,000.00 in medical bills, and I lost my transportation because I can no longer pay for car insurance and car note. Food stamps only gave me $120.00 for the month for food which is not enough to buy healthy food. Any monetary assistance will be highly appreciated to help pay for my treatment.
