Paula Stacey

Paula Stacey has been a vital member of the Monroe Academy family since 1975, teaching as well as being involved with countless extracurricular activities and organizations. She has also devoted her time to First Baptist Church of Monroeville and other community service endeavors including Distinguished Young Women. Paula has recently been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly known as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease. She took a leave of absence from teaching in December, and it has now become necessary for her to have full time care.

Many of you have asked what you can do to help. Donations will be used to assist with the care Paula needs at this time.

This is an opportunity to give back to someone who has given so much of herself. Please feel free to share this, as we know she is loved by so many who would love to help her.
