Paula medical expenses

Dear Friends and family,

Our dear Paula has suffered a terrible fall and is in need of love, support and financial aid from all of us. On Tuesday, April 27 she caught the corner of a rug and came down in an instant, fracturing both her left femur and left wrist. After four hours of laying on her floor, her friend Toni was able to get to her and have her rushed to the hospital. Her injuries will require multiple surgeries, traction and rehab, followed by intense physical and occupational therapy. This is a long road for our girl…total time will be weeks and most likely months of care to bring her back to independence.

This is a daunting journey and one that will need immense support. Paula will not be able to meet the financial expectations for this on her own. Yes, visits from us all; meals and quality time spent to boost her spirits are all an integral part of her healing, but we all know how expensive health care is at this level.

The ask is this: can we, as a loving and supportive community, raise $20,000 for our friend? Our family is hopeful that you will all reach deep to add to her success.
