Sad to share my incredible mother and best friend Paula Hunter passed away peacefully this morning. A lifelong educator to me and countless students from her decades of teaching, her influences will last long beyond her time with us. Instead of flowers or offers, she wanted me to advocate for donations to her beloved school NCCL - to help the next generation of students and educators achieve greatness. I was fortunate to have her as a formal teacher at NCCL, as well as her constant encouragement for all my adventures and endeavors, including her editing my entire Ph.D., with a smile.
