Hi everyone, my name is Nicole. I am trying to raise funds to help cover some medical expenses and funeral arrangements for my Mother In law Paula - who tragically passed away while on holiday in the UK last week.

We immigrated to the UK 5 years ago and have sadly only been able to see her twice in the last few years. We recently managed to get her a ticket to come and visit us from South Africa following the birth of our third baby born last year. Paula arrived on the 3 August and we sadly only got to spend just 48 hours with her before she suddenly and tragically passed away from a Pulmonary Embolism in our home.

We are utterly shattered and in shock. We have been also been thrown into the thick of figuring out what this all means for her medical care, cremation and funeral planning as she was not in her home country at the time of her passing. We also need help to get her ashes home to South Africa where her husband and other sons still are.

We hate to need to ask, but we do need help. Any donation no matter how small will make the absolute world of a difference to us.
