Dear Loving Family and Friends,

As many of you know, our mother, Paula Foley has been battling Stage 4 Metastatic, Breast Cancer since 2014. She has persevered and endured; several surgeries, radiation, side effects from at least a dozen different mediations, losing her hair (and all of you that know her, know just how important a good hair style is!), hundreds of doctors appointments, a never ending roller coaster-ride of highs when she responded well to treatment and heartbreaking lows when we received bad news that medications were no longer working, countless ER visits and enough hospital stays to take a toll on anyone’s happiness. All of this and she has maintained a spirit of happiness and hopefulness. Often times I think she fooled so many people that her body was doing better than it actually was because she always kept a smile on her face and a positive outlook and joy in her heart. Throughout the years, our mom has kept a strong faith in Gods ability to heal her and give her a longer life than even the doctors predicted. We believe that her faith in God and her diligence in searching for every possible natural treatment to try alongside following the advice and treatment suggested by her doctors, she has truly done better than most in her situation. Anyone one who knows her would describe her as the SWEETEST person they have ever come in contact with. She is instantly adored by anyone she meets and she truly loves all of her friends, clients and family. She has friends all over the world and more best friends than the average person. She is truly they special to us and we know, to all of you. Within the last month an a half, our moms health has taken a turn for the worse. She was admitted to the hospital a few weeks ago due to tumors re-appearing in her breast, liver, lungs, lymph nodes, spine and lastly in her bones. Complications of the tumors resulted in her calcium levels reaching a critically high level and causing liver failure and difficulties breathing. She was stabilized and sent home however now she is back in the hospital with other complications that have resulted from restarting IV chemotherapy. Things are progressing fast but we are doing all that we can to fight it. While we are fighting her cancer on multiple fronts she will need time to rest and focus on healing but this will prevent her from being able to work. 

Throughout the last several years, while battling cancer and undergoing chemo, our mom has taken very few days off from work, simply because she is a hard worker but more than anything because she truly loves what she does and loves all of her clients like they are her family. Our mom would not take time off of work unless she had no other option and that is where she is at right now. Due to being self employed, she unfortunately does not qualify for traditional benefits like disability. We are doing our absolute best to cover all costs within our family but we also know that many people who love our mom have reached out and asked to be able to contribute finically to help cover some of the costs of her cancer treatments and her bills. While we would never want to make anyone feel obligated to help, we would greatly appreciate any help or donations if anyone feels obligated to do so. Truly the only thing we really ask is for prayers and we know so many of you have reached out and expressed that you are praying for her. We can never thank you enough for your love, thoughts, and prayers that you have given our mother so far. Thank you to those of you who have sent flowers, cards, gift baskets, care packages, words of advice and your kind words. We love you all so much.
