Help us raise £10,000 as we earn back the meters Covid-19 took from our Community club this year!
As you know, team training and events were cancelled for the better part of 2020, which has been a real challenge not only for our on-the-water training but also for our fundraising.
Throughout the lockdown Team Keane was a huge support to us athletes as our dedicated coaches organised daily virtual training sessions, which not only kept us physically, but also mentally fit. The five months physically apart showed us how strong our Team Keane rowing family really is, and we have emerged wanting to ensure others can enjoy the benefits of such an inclusive and supportive community.
To accomplish that means we need more boats. We need more kit. And, we need scholarship funds to support those less financially able at this time.
So we are doing what we know - we are rowing. And we are asking for your help...
The Ergathon!
Our club members are at varying levels of experience, each of whom are committed to erg as many meters as they possibly can between 21st November - 19th December, 2020. We are aiming to reach a million metres in that period.. I think we can beat that!
Will you join me in making a difference?
I'm raising money in aid of Team Keane Sculling School and every donation will help. I am doing my part to row over 1 million meters with Team Keane!
More information about Team Keane Sculling School:
We are a friendly, inclusive Community Rowing club which aims to make rowing accessible to Adults and Juniors of all backgrounds.
We have an ethos of encouraging scullers/rowers of all levels to develop and build upon the technique and knowledge they gain to achieve their goals whether that may be recreational sculling or serious competition. Team Keane Sculling School aims to have a strong presence at racing events and develop a competitive Racing team.
