Hello everyone,

My name is Jan. I am Paul "Wally" Schwarzrock's sister. I am starting a Go Fund Me page, as our lives were turned upside-down one week ago today. Wally is so lucky to be alive and it is a miracle for what his body went through and he is still here to talk about it today. God is Good!

Here is his story.

Paul "Wally" Schwarzrock was in a very bad ATV (farming) accident last Wednesday night (6/22/22) and was airlifted to HCMC in Minneapolis. He had surgery that night to repair a major head trauma wound, which went as well as expected. The next day he had another major (6-hour) surgery to repair and fuse multiple vertebrates in his back that were heavily damaged from the accident. He also had some broken ribs. From these surgeries, Wally is still in large amounts of pain in his legs and back, but continues to improve slowly day by day.

I am setting up Go Fund Me page for his family, as Wally is on a long road to recovery. He was recently released from the ICU today. However, he will remain in the hospital or be transferred to a rehab facility for weeks of rehabilitation and strength training for his back & legs, so at some point, Wally will be able to get back on his feet again and walk again. (He is determined to get back to work, as he misses it.)

We are asking for help, as all funds will be used for outstanding medical bills, loss of wages and monthly bills, as Wally will be unable to work for a long time. We are asking for help from our tight-knit community of family and friends to help out during this time of need. Wally has been so very grateful for the ongoing support he has gotten through all the prayers, phone calls, & text messages.
