My name is Ike Messmore, and I am raising money to help my friend Paul Voeltz in his recovery from a traumatic brain injury sustained in a roadracing incident in July 2020.

As many of you know, Paul sustained a life-threatening brain injury and a broken neck in his crash. While we are grateful for Paul's progress to date, certain aspects of his recovery have been slower and more difficult than hoped. In particular, Paul continues to struggle with his vision as a result of injury to the connection between the brain and optic nerve.

Paul and his family believe that an additional treatment would likely help improve his injury: an advanced neuro-recovery program at the Functional Neurology Center in Minneapolis.

This cutting-edge treatment is not covered by Paul's insurance. 100% of the funds raised (less any transactional fees charged by this site / credit card companies) will go toward funding Paul's consultations and treatment at the Functional Neurology Center.
