Hello,

I am Sean Vail, Paul Vail's eldest son, and I am setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of my mother, and Paul's wife of 38 years, Mary Carter-Vail.

Paul Vail passed peacefully in the early morning of September 5th surrounded by his family. He was taken from us too soon at the age of 61 due to sudden and severe health complications.

Paul Vail was a loving husband and the best father we could ever ask for. He gave so much of himself to inventing, building, and nurturing his environment. He took pride repairing Saabs for people all over San Diego county and around the country. He loved to build habitats for monarch butterflies and hummingbirds. He found joy in growing beautiful gardens of orchids, cactus flowers, and fruits. Everything he did nurtured the world around him and made it a more beautiful place.

The funds raised will be used to pay for Paul's medical and funeral expenses. He was the primary income provider for our family and Mary will need help paying for these bills - any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
