On Saturday, April 28th, Paul Vail was lost in a tragic U.T.V. accident.  While Paul may be gone, the profound impact he had on the lives of the people lucky enough to know him will be everlasting.  Anyone who crossed paths with Paul knew they had a friend for life, and an ally they could rely on in a time of need.  Paul would literally give the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his pocket to someone he just met.

Paul was a loving father to 9 children, and played a substantial role in raising countless others.  He loved his wife of twelve years, Sandra, with a passion that was evident to anyone who caught their eyes meet.  He was the proudest of Grandpas to seven adorable grandchildren.   

Many people knew Paul through his “Homesteading Ways” YouTube channel he created with the love of his life, Sandra.  They shared a dream of creating a homestead of their own, away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.  The videos they posted chronicled the adventures they had in building their dream together, while sharing the knowledge and skills it took with a community of people online who they became very close to.

This campaign is to pay homage and respects to the memory of a man who we could all aspire to be.  Paul leaves behind a world that was a better place because he was in it.

Any donations in Paul’s memory will be utilized by his immediate family with end-of-life and transition expenses.  On behalf of the family, thank you for all of the love and support received in the aftermath of Paul’s untimely death.
