Paul Tomkins and Karin Harker

Hi, on behalf of the trialling community in South Wales, we are spearheading a fundraising effort to help Paul Tomkins and Karin Haker. As many of you will know, Paul has suffered a stroke-like medical emergency and is currently hospitalized for an indeterminate length of time. His prognosis is unclear at the moment. Karin has also recently undergone knee surgery and is unable to work and drive a car for the next few months. Karin's surgery has exacerbated an already difficult situation as she is unable to earn any income, where Paul normally would. Through the kindness of many people, Paul's and Karin's dogs are being cared for. But Karin is in a very challenging, if not desperate, situation financially and needs our assistance. Over the years, Karin and Paul have been active members of the trialling community - Paul being a Welsh National Champion and both helping with organising trials and hosting their own trial. Both have given us all many laughs and entertaining moments. Times are challenging, we appreciate that. But if you could offer a small amount of generosity, no matter how big or small, to Paul and Karin to help them over what might be a life changing medical emergency, they would be extremely grateful.
