Paul Rieker has been battling metastatic cancer and its many complications this past year and has recently been hospitalized at Brigham & Womens/Dana Farber for the last month. He is currently at home receiving hospice care, as well as round-the-clock care by his dedicated wife, Maria.

For any who have known Paul (aka “Mr. Rieker”), from his time teaching for many years at Classical High School as well as Central High School, or his days playing for Springfield Rugby Club, you will know what a special person he is. He has influenced so many people with his stories of life, love of books, and dedication to family & friends.

We are raising funds to help offset the steep costs of uninsured medical expenses, travel expenses, and mounting bills, as neither Maria or Paul are working at present. Anything you contribute will be greatly appreciated.
