Hi, my name is Gretchen from s/v Felicità. My husband Tim and I are raising money for our dock neighbor in La Cruz, Mexico, Paul Richter. Sadly, he lost his boat and full time home, s/v Chrysalis, in a fire that took the boat in a matter of minutes. Paul had to jump off the boat to save his life as heroic dock workers and pangeros tied lines to the boat and towed it to open water so as not to impact other boats.

Paul jumped into the water with literally a pair of shorts. He is starting from scratch. We are fundraising to help give him some cash to cover his immediate food and housing needs and start the process of getting his life put back together. We hope the community will be able to give him a boost. Thanks so much for anything you can do.

We will be working directly with Paul and his son, John, to get all funds into Paul's hands.
