Paul Receives Lung Transplant

Help Paul Heffron breathe deep again and get back to his most precious gift of family.

I am writing this in gratitude for supporting Paul Heffron and his family.

Two weeks ago, Paul received a medical miracle in the form of a successful lung transplant at Stanford Medical in California. Paul was diagnosed with interstitial lung disease several years ago and has undergone years of lung treatments and a previous lung transplant. His driving goal is to be with his wife, Sarah, as they raise their young family.

We are beyond grateful for the excellent care his medical team is providing. Our gratitude to the donor and family is beyond measure. God willing, Paul will be out of the hospital soon and will need to live nearby while he keeps in close contact with his medical team and recovery staff. No one disputes that Paul has an excellent wife, Sarah, and is an exceptional father to Michael, Tommy & Mary (ages 15, 12 & 8) He is eager to return home.

For up to 3 months, Paul is required to live in an Airbnb near the hospital. As anyone can imagine, there are extensive costs that will not be covered by insurance.
