Paul Patten was a good man. As many of you know, Paul would give the shirt off his back for anyone he cared about. He had his demons and he fought them long and hard but lost his battle with them last week. We would like to have a proper service and allow everyone to pay their respects to him. Unfortunately there are no funds for this. This goal is the cost for cremation, a wake and a small service. We are trying to get some of the money from the state to help out but won't know about that for another week or so. That lead us to go fund me to try to raise the money. If we do reach the goal and do get some from the state, or if it ends up costing less somehow, we will lower the amount or donate what's left over to a cause in Paul's name.
