Paul Ott Tribute

THE STORY:
As many people know, Paul Ott Carruth is a man of great passions, not only for everything Mississippi, but for the music, people and the great outdoors of our beautiful state. Over a half-century he has been recognized as Mississippi's Ultimate Ambassador. Another great legacy of Paul's work is the Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience.
The board of directors and staff of the Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience are planning to honor Paul and his vision for this institution through the creation of a bronze sculptural bust. We have selected celebrated Mississippi sculptor Ben Watts for this work. Watts has created similar tributes for NFL great Walter Payton, U.S. Senator Howell Heflin of Alabama, and music legend Little Jimmy Dickens, among many others.
The sculpture will be owned in perpetuity and displayed in the new Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience. This medium was selected because of the lasting nature of statuary and bronze sculpture.
Any gift is most appreciated and all gifts will be recognized at the unveiling ceremony. Contributors who give $500 or more will be recognized on a plaque on the pedestal base of the sculpture.
THE LAST DAY TO DONATE TO THE PAUL OTT CARRUTH BUST IS AUGUST 15, 2018!!
