Paul Michael Krusa
November 19, 1954 – April 17, 2025

Paul Michael Krusa, age 70, passed away peacefully at home in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, on April 17, 2025, surrounded by the family who loved him dearly. A two-time cancer survivor, Paul fought valiantly until the very end, showing remarkable strength, courage, and grace through every challenge he faced.

Born on November 19, 1954, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Paul grew up with a deep appreciation for hard work, family, and the simple joys of life. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1972 to 1973, a time that shaped his quiet strength and lifelong resilience.

Paul dedicated 35 years of his life to Waupaca Foundry, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment. In retirement, he found joy in the little things—spending time in his garage workshop, scrapping and tinkering, and casting a line as an avid fisherman. These later years brought him a peaceful rhythm and time to enjoy the hobbies that brought him happiness.

Above all, Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Sankey) Krusa, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and unwavering partnership of 50 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Jaime Krusa (Jennifer), Stacy Teachout (Nicholas), and Teri Krusa (Pam); and his cherished grandchildren: Paxton and Isabella Teachout, Tanner, Nathan, and Jadyn Krusa, and Nicholas and Brennan Krusa. Paul’s legacy lives on through them—in their kindness, their humor, and their love for family.

He is also survived by his siblings: Mary Donermeyer, Gerri Quimby, Kathy Kluck, Jim Krusa, and Brian Krusa.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Alois and Dorothy Krusa, and his beloved sisters Marge Peltier, Corrine Salfer, Carol Borchardt, and Florrie Karch. While the loss is immense, the family takes comfort in knowing he has been reunited with those he missed so deeply.

The Krusa family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who have reached out with kind words and support during this time. A special thank you to the compassionate team at Agrace Hospice Care, whose care and kindness brought comfort to Paul and his family during his final days.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family kindly asks for donations to be made via GoFundMe to support Linda with final expenses and future needs.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced by the family.

Paul will be remembered for his steady presence, quiet strength, generous heart, and the love he poured into every corner of his life. He leaves behind a legacy of resilience, love, and family that will live on for generations.
