Paul Marrero Jr Memorial

In Memory of Paul Marrero Jr (August 4, 1955 -- April 24, 2017)

Paul was a candle in the water for many people. All through his life he provided the rock from which many people gained the strength, support and vision to move forward.  He would often annoymously provide for people he knew were in need. Everything from groceries to clothes would be delivered and appear at the moment they were needed.

Paul worked most of his career at EDS. During that time his innovative and pioneering spirt made him a legend. Through he work he met the greats Gates, Jobs, Perot and many others. He will be remembered for laying hands on computers to heal them, and many other stories.

When he left EDS,  his adverturous spirit took him to London, England where he learned that "Red Suspenders" does not mean the same thing in the UK as it does in the US. He grew and learned many things that allowed him to go onto his next adventure in Alaska.

Nine years in Alaska allowed Paul to achieve his personal ambition of being a Chief Operating Officer and a local force in the community.

His family and friends were always welcome on all his adventures. He truly believed Dr. Seuss "Oh the places you would go" and he made it his mission for each day to be an adventure. His willingness to mentor and to help people achieve their dreams helped so many people move forward not only in their business life but in their personal lives as well.

Above all else, Dad had a true love for Science and Technology. The only thing that ever eclipsed that love was the birth of his granddaughter Maya.  We believe he would want nothing more than for his friends and family to donate to his two favorite loves: Maya and Science and Technology. The funds raised here will be used towards a Science Lab at Maya's school.

Paul Marrero Jr is survived by his Mother Lucy Montemurro, Father Paul Marrero Sr., children Chis, Zak, and PJ, granddaughter Maya and two brothers Mike and Steve.
