Tribute to Paul Malaske

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jessica. I’m the granddaughter of Paul and Char Malaske. I’m raising funds to help my Grandma with unexpected medical bills, funeral costs, and other expenses that will arise due to my Grandpa’s tragic death.

On February 13th, 2024, our precious Grandpa, Paul Malaske was called home by the Lord and made his journey to heaven. Paul was on a ladder trimming a tree when tragedy struck. The branch he cut flew down hitting his ladder from 20-30ft up crushing his ladder in half, causing him to fall to the ground on his back. He had an appt that afternoon and Char called his phone so he could get ready. When he didn’t answer she went to look for him. After 45 mins of going through the entire house and circling outside multiple times, by the grace of God she caught a glimpse of his sweatshirt on the ground. Char ran up to Paul and told him she was there, called 911 immediately and starting talking to the Lord. The medical teams showed up, cop cars, ambulances, fire trucks and a helicopter and after multiple life saving measures, our precious Grandpa passed away and made his journey to heaven. It was tragic and unexpected. We all lost a part of our hearts that day.

Paul was kind, smart, loving, creative and a servant of the Lord! He loved Jesus with everything he had. He prayed over his family daily. He had such a charm about him. He could walk into a place and start talking to anyone and immediately have a bond. The joy on his face lit up a room. He always wanted to be there to lend a helping hand. He literally could fix anything or build anything even in his later years. He loved teaching how to do things. Showing step by step and explaining everything to a T how to do it. If he knew you needed help or you even looked like you needed help he would be the first one there with a smile on his face, ready for anything. He loved helping his neighbors. He would even help the mail lady when she would get stuck down the road in the snow, he would go pull her out. He would always say, God Bless You! And he meant it. He was always so appreciative of the little things in life. He loved his family so much. He loved his precious wife Char with all his heart. The love story they have is like no other. Everyone who knows them, saw it. He loved going to family gatherings and being with everyone. He loved showing up to the Grandkids sporting events. He just loved being there! The loss of someone so special takes a piece of your heart with them.

Any donation would be a huge blessing. Unfortunately there were no life insurance policies. All funds raised will go to Char to help cover incoming medical bills, celebration of life and other financial hardships she may face. Please continue to pray for our family and Paul’s friends during this heartbreaking time!

There will be a celebration of life, date and time TBD.

God Bless You Thank You ❤️
