Paul Kampen Athletic Scholarship Fund

Our father was a huge advocate of sports and activities supporting youth in the Parchment and Kalamazoo areas. We are establishing this fund to sponsor donations in his memory to help offset the cost to participate in local area sports.

Paul loved sports — whether playing, officiating, coaching, or watching you could always find him near a court or field! He spent much of his life coaching youth basketball programs, school teams, officiating, and developing the talent of young athletes.

Dad believed in the power of sports and the impact it had on lives. He would often volunteer his time officiating or refereeing to help offset costs to programs and families.

We can think of no better way to honor his memory than to provide scholarships to local area sports teams to offset the cost to participate in team sports.

Donations will be used to offset costs associated with participating in sports programs for young athletes at local area schools.
