Hello, I am writing to let you know that a GoFundMe campaign has been set up for a good friend of mine. His name is Paul James. I've known Paul for what seems like forever, and he is now a proud grandfather of 2. Paul has been fighting pancreatic cancer for the last four years which, in itself, is almost unheard of.

Paul is such a kind, optimistic sort of guy. I'm sure his always positive outlook has energized his body to fight this disease.  Sadly, he now has a large, inoperable tumor on his liver which is blocking his bile duct. Paul's most recent hospital stay was for the doctors to hopefully open up his bile duct, however the tumor has made that impossible.

Paul is now back home.  He has medical insurance covering his physical and occupational therapy.  What it does not cover is the private nursing care he requires 3 days each week when his long-time partner, Carmelita, has to work and cannot care for him. The cost for his private nurse is $20 per hour or $240 per day (12hr days). 

I am asking for your help, in any amount - even $5, to provide for his care. I am hoping to raise enough money to cover 30 days of care for this gentle, thoughtful, caring man.
