My names Emily, I’m the daughter-in-law of Paul Farrow .

8 weeks ago we took over looking after Paul when it was discovered that he had a brain tumour as well with cancer in other areas of his body. Unfortunately it was too late to start treatment and Paul just wasn’t well enough to withstand it either and therefore it was decided to make Paul comfortable.

Paul came to live at our house with me, Simon and his four grandchildren..must add Paul is very much like Simon and it was like having 6 children living with me . It became apparent after a couple of weeks that Paul was needing 24hr care and needed to be in a location where nurses were around the clock.

Nobody anticipated how quickly this illness was going to progress and sadly on the 14th of July 2024 on his 64th birthday Paul succumbed to his illness falling asleep for the final time with myself and Simon (his son) by his side.

We didn’t want to have to set up a fundraiser but unfortunately financially me and Simon won’t be able to cover the full cost of Paul’s funeral and therefore any help is greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
