We are raising funds to help with my brother’s final expenses but also to set up a fund for his 12 year old daughter Mia, who is now left without a father. David lost his fight with diabetes and all of the complications that resulted from it on April 15, 2024. He leaves behind a wife, a daughter, and two bonus daughters, all whom he loved very much. Plus, many more family and friends who loved him and will feel the loss of his light in our lives.

Anything you can donate to help leave some sense of security for his daughter Mia and support a better future for her would be greatly appreciated.

These funds will be used for funeral services and after that all remaining funds will be put aside for Mia and her future. That way David will be able to provide for her in the future despite being gone.

David struggled with Type 2 Diabetes for the last 15 years of his life. This led to him having his right leg amputated below the knee almost 9 years ago. Throughout the years my brother had many hospital stays, then came the diagnoses of needing a kidney transplant and so the 3 times a week dialysis started. He was constantly sick and fatigued after every session. Through all this my brother kept high spirits and remained optimistic about receiving a kidney transplant. 

Then in late March of 2024, David was admitted into the hospital and needed an emergency surgery on his left leg due to a blood clot. 

My goal here is to help my brother provide for his daughter despite his absence. Middle school graduation, Prom dress, Senior Trip, and High school graduation, whatever can be done in an effort to give her a slightly better experience in her life now that her dad is gone. 

My brother deserved better than the cards he was dealt in life, please help make a difference in his little girl’s life now that he’s not here to take care of her.
