Paul Daly memorial in Stan Wadlow Park

The loss of Paul Daly has been a shock to many of us in East York. Paul was a good man, with a kind heart, who would always go out of his way to reach out to help, no matter how hard things were getting for him.
Paul made involvement in the community of East York his life's work, with a strong focus on the East York Baseball association. He spent his youth as an avid fan of East York Baseball, and as a adult he made a concerted effort to return as an umpire every summer.
It is my hope that together we can honour Paul's memory by creating a permanent fixture in Stan Wadlow park, through the Toronto commemorative trees and benches project. That way Paul can forevermore be part of the community he loved so much.
A breakdown of the funds we need to achieve this goal is as follows:
-$2530 or 84.3% of total to Toronto Commemorative Trees and Benches in city parks
-$150 or 5% of total to GoFundMe for their fee
-$320 or 10.7% For any unexpected fees associated with the project, any remainder will go to the Toronto Humane Society in honour of Paul's lifelong love for animals.
